The BioMaker 3D Printer is a development project that consists of creating a machine capable of printing biomaterials to make organic parts for laboratory studies.
Designed to combine form and function.
It all started with the mechanical design, the skeleton of the machine.
The challenge was to create a new cover design without altering the skeleton, with low production costs, while maintaining the function and improving the visual aspect.
The limitations implied for the skeleton make the design options limited. But from the very first explorations, the search for the union of form and function followed
The equipment is all controlled, programmed and managed by computer (with the option of remote control), which has allowed it to maintain a minimalist design.
